sunday school
We believe in children’s ministries because we believe God has given to us the responsibility to teach the Bible to our church. For the children of our church, our purpose in children’s ministries is to teach the Bible to children. Our Sunday School is the means by which we assist parents in teaching the Bible to the children of our church.
Our Sunday School staff desires to connect with the children of our church and their families, discovering how each child learns and the unique characteristics of that child and her home.
Our Sunday School staff desires to care for the children of our church, providing spiritual and physical care for each child.
Our Sunday School staff desires to converse about God and His Word with each child, teaching them the Bible in a comprehensive and age-graded course of Bible study that can lead learners to a saving knowledge of Christ and growth in Him.
Our Sunday School staff desires to chase after the children in our church, pursuing unbelieving children, wandering children, and fringe children with the love of Jesus Christ.
Our Sunday School meets weekly from 11:00-11:45am. Children may arrive by 10:50am, and parents of children 2 years through 3rd grade should pick up their children from their classroom at the end of the education hour.
Our midweek children’s ministry advances our efforts to teach girls and boys the truths of the Bible. In an environment different than our Sunday School, our children hear God’s Word from a competent teacher, memorize God’s Word in age-appropriate portions, and interact with each other in friendly games. Our midweek children’s ministry meets Wednesdays 6:30pm – 8:00pm, September to May.
